HOW TO BOOK OR GET A QUOTE

• It’s simple!  You have several options:

  You can book a vehicle online at sixt.cz. At the top of the page, enter the pick-up location as well as the pick-up and return dates. Once you confirm these details, you’ll see a selection of available vehicles including price quotes. Just choose your car, make the reservation, and you’re ready to go! You will receive a confirmation email containing your reservation number and rental details.

  If you prefer to choose a specific vehicle first, visit Type of cars. After selecting the most suitable car, enter the pick-up location and the pick-up and return dates. You’ll receive a price quote and then simply complete the reservation. We will then send you a confirmation email with your reservation number and rental details.

  If you prefer direct contact, you can call the SIXT reservation center at +420 22 23 24 995, and we’ll take care of everything else.

 

VEHICLE PICK UP

WHAT DO I NEED FOR VEHICLE PICK UP?

• • A valid driving licence (for all additional drivers). Drivers from outside the Schengen Area must also present an international driving permit, if such permits are officially issued by their country of origin.
  • A credit card, debit card (with the option to block a deposit), or a Sixt payment card. The credit card holder must be present at vehicle pickup and sign the rental agreement as the renter.
  • A valid proof of identity – a valid ID card or a valid passport.

  Additional Information on Vehicle Pickup

  • The vehicle is rented with a full tank and must be returned with a full tank; otherwise, a refuelling fee will be charged.
  • The rental price includes VAT, unlimited mileage, and damage and theft protection (for most rates). Our staff can inform you about additional protection options.
  • You will be presented with the rental agreement for review and signature. This document includes all booked services and protection, including the relevant fees.
  • It is important to inspect the vehicle for any existing damage to avoid discrepancies when returning the car.

Cancellation of Reservation

After completing an online reservation, you will receive a confirmation email containing your reservation number, access code, and rental details. If you need to cancel your reservation, go to “CANCELLATION” and enter your reservation number and access code.

Travelling abroad

Permission is required to take a SIXT vehicle outside the Czech Republic. For more detailed information, please visit the “FAQs – Frequently Asked Questions” section. Please note that some vehicles are not permitted to leave the Czech Republic, and entry into certain countries is not allowed at all.

Extension of Rental

Would you like to keep the vehicle longer than originally planned? Contact us! Extending the rental period requires approval from a SIXT Czech Republic employee, who will complete the necessary documentation.

Payment

We accept all common international credit cards: American Express, Diners Club, Eurocard/Mastercard, and Visa. We also accept debit cards, except Visa Electron and Mastercard Maestro. Debit cards must allow for a security deposit to be blocked. Cash payments are not accepted.

Fines

SIXT Czech Republic uses the services of a specialized collection agency, DC Group, spol. s r.o., for the administration and recovery of fines.
